ICANN Interactive Demo for TLDs Now Live

Applying for a new gTLD?  Check out ICANN’s demo of the online application system – called TAS (Top-Level Domain Application System).  The demo will show you how the application process, which starts on January 12, 2012, will work.  The application is lengthy and includes a lot of pieces, so viewing the video might be a good way to get a head start and see how the process will work.  The demo seems to be pretty thorough, but check it out for yourself.

Final New TLD Applicant Guidebook Ready?

ICANN is set to release its new Top Level Domain (TLD) Applicant Guidebook today.  The guidebook released may be the final version before applications are accepted.  ICANN will also be launching a new micro site, newgtlds.icann.org, which will contain information about the new TLD program.  Read the article here.
